My name is Colette Lumsden and my journey with the Angels and Higher Beings of Light began approx fifteen years ago. I am convinced, without a shadow of doubt, that during a time of great emotional stress in my life, I was helped by a much higher power.
One night, approx two weeks before Christmas, I was feeling really low and sad, due to a personal situation. I left my house to take a walk and ended up going for a cup of coffee into a hotel quite near where I live. As I sat down in the lounge which was quite packed with people, being so near Christmas, an elderly gentleman entered and stood by the bar. He stood looking at me and eventually came over to me. ‘You‘re wearing your heart on your sleeve, I’d like to help you, please believe me’ he said with such compassion, I was very near to tears.
I told him I was okay and he went back to the bar, but I noticed he didn’t order anything. In fact he came over to me three times and eventually I said to him ‘’I know you are trying to help, but I can’t talk now, I’m not able.’’ He looked at me with such love and gentleness and said ‘’Yes you can my dear for all you know I could be your Guardian Angel.’’ Then he walked out of the lounge. I had never seen that gentleman before or since, yet it changed the course of my life completely!
I really felt I had to write about it so that I wouldn’t forget it. I sat down one evening intending to jot down some notes and before I knew it I found I was putting it into a poem. This is the poem which I feel was guided as I certainly never wrote poetry before that!
The most wonderful thing about working with the Angels and Spirit is that, no matter how long you study, you will never know it all! There will always be exciting things to learn and experience. To me that is very comforting because it means there is always something new around the corner.
I was given the message several times by the Angels and Spirit that I was a Healer and have found that this gives me great joy to give/send healing to others. In my classes and circles, we always send healing out to anyone or any place that we feel guided. Through working with the Angels and Ascended Masters, I have found my Psychic and Mediumship abilities naturally maturing. Earth is a learning experience for us all and everyone must go through tough times to grow. I am no different. My life has had its fair share of ups and downs but I have learned to ask for help from the Angels. We are never alone, our Guides and the Angels are just a thought away!
